Eastern put on a show in front of its home crowd Friday night, rolling past Phalen Leadership Academy 67-0 in Greentown. The Comets exploded early as Kaleb Hurt returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and added two pick-sixes, while Gibson Eagle threw three touchdown passes. Bently Hullinger and Isaiah Pickett also found the end zone as Eastern’s offense and defense dominated from start to finish. The Comets (6-1) will look to keep things rolling on Senior Night next week against Sheridan.
