Taylor pulled off a thrilling 21-20 upset of Howard County rival Eastern on homecoming night! The No. 16-ranked Class 1A Titans capped the game with a blocked extra point and a recovered onside kick to hold off the No. 9-ranked Class 2A Comets.

Javionne Harris led the way, scoring two rushing touchdowns and throwing an 8-yard TD pass to Drey McClatchey. Keyshawn Galloway came up big with a crucial interception that set up Taylor’s go-ahead score in the fourth quarter. Gibson Eagle and Bently Hullinger kept Eastern alive late with a 32-yard TD connection, but Taylor’s defense made the stops when it mattered most.

Taylor (3-1) will return home for next Friday’s matchup vs. Clinton Central, while Eastern (3-1) hosts Carroll (Flora).
