The Ripple Effect Podcast - Junior Thespian Troupe

This week on The Ripple Effect Podcast, hosts Jessica Ausbrook and Kim Graves from Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union welcome special guest Maggie from the Junior Thespian Troupe at Kokomo Curtain Call Theatre for Children. Maggie shares how she became involved with Junior Thespians and how the program gives middle school students an opportunity to explore theatre, develop their talents, and build confidence both on and off the stage. She also talks about bringing students from different schools together and creating an encouraging environment where they can learn, grow, and support one another. The conversation also takes a closer look at what students experience as part of the troupe, from weekly rehearsals and individual performances to regional and state competitions. They discuss the importance of teamwork, leadership, and helping young performers overcome challenges, along with how families can get involved and how community sponsorships help make the program accessible to more students. Whether you have a child interested in theatre or simply want to learn more about a local program helping young people find their confidence and creativity, there’s plenty to take away from this episode.
