Cross America: Where Community Comes Together

In the latest episode of Kokomo Uncovered partnered with Community First Bank of Indiana, we visited Cross America, a Kokomo-based nonprofit that’s making an impact far beyond our community while also serving as a welcoming space right here at home.

But first, you might be wondering why a bank would be hyping up a space like this? The answer is simple. Community First believes in supporting local, and so do we. Pretty un-bank-like, right?

Located at 840 Daniel Drive, Cross America is a non-denominational Christian organization with a mission to share hope and faith across the country. Their outreach includes sending a small cross and a plan of salvation to homes throughout the United States, a project made possible through the help of volunteers and supporters.

But Cross America is more than a mailing ministry. It also serves as a community center and gathering place for Kokomo and the surrounding area. Inside the facility, you’ll find welcoming spaces designed for connection, conversation, and service.

One standout feature is their event and meeting space, which is available for community gatherings, meetings, and special events. Whether it’s a small group, organization meeting, or community-focused event, Cross America offers a comfortable, mission-driven environment that encourages people to come together.

The center is also home to Doubting Thomas Cafe, a cozy coffee shop where guests can enjoy coffee, food, and fellowship. It’s a place where people can meet friends, take a break, or simply enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while supporting the organization’s mission.

In this episode of Kokomo Uncovered, we take a closer look at what Cross America does, how they serve our community, and why their space has become a meaningful hub for the community. From their outreach efforts to their inviting event space and cafe, Cross America continues to make a difference in ways that extend well beyond their walls.

Watch the latest episode of Kokomo Uncovered to learn more about Cross America and see how this Kokomo organization is creating connections, supporting the community, and spreading hope.

As always, Kokomo Uncovered is proud to spotlight the people, organizations, and spaces that make Kokomo a better place to live, work, and gather.
