A Brownie Sundae from Kokomo Frozen Custard
3107 S Webster St., Kokomo, IN 46902 | (765) 450-3894
Want to try something new for dessert this weekend? Visit a local favorite and share a sundae with your kids. We had a craving for brownies. The brownie sundae is a warm gooey brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla frozen custard drizzled with chocolate syrup and your choice of the addition of whipped cream or nuts. This was a mother-son treat for us to share and it was the perfect portion. You can follow Kokomo Frozen Custard on Facebook to see what special flavors they will be offering each week. This weekend they will have wedding cake, strawberry delight, banana split, robin egg, and lemon in addition to vanilla, chocolate, and butter pecan which they always have ready to serve.

Coyote Kids Free Summer Running Program
https://clubkokomoroadrunners.com/coyote-kids-registration
When I reflect upon playing outside as a kid, I think of running. Playing tag, trying to beat the wind or a car driving past my house, running is something all kids enjoy and is a great way to be active. The Coyote Kids program is managed by volunteers that are a part of our local running club the Club Kokomo Roadrunners. It began as a backyard family activity and has grown to be one of the most anticipated events of the summer for kids. Each week, runners will check-in, run their race, and receive a ribbon and a popsicle at the finish line. Toddler races (25 yd and 50 yard) begin in small waves at 6:15 PM. Other races including the 220 yard, quarter mile, half mile, and mile runs begin around 6:30 PM. You can register your children for Coyote Kids online now and find more details on the Club Kokomo Roadrunners Website.
