Creature Feature: Where the Wild Things Visit Kokomo
Kokomo Uncovered | Creature Feature at Kirkendall Nature Center
Welcome back to another article for Kokomo Uncovered, where we showcase something unique, special, or brand new in Kokomo—thanks to our incredible friends and partners at Community First Bank of Indiana. You might be thinking, “Why is a bank hyping up another local business?” Well, that’s because supporting local is kind of their thing—pretty un-bank-like, right? And obviously, it’s our thing too! This Kokomo Uncovered is showcasing Creature Features at Kirkendall Nature Center!
Do you or your kids love animals? How about seeing some exotic animals? Well look no further with Creature Feature at Kirkendall Nature Center. Once a month until December, there is a new Creature Feature where they will be featuring different animals! From more exotic animals like reptiles and porcupines to alpacas and goats, these Creature Features feature animals that are sure to excite all!
I recently attended the ‘Silly Safari’ Creature Feature in April, and it was an educational presentation about some exotic animals. Everyone there was able to learn about various hawks, smaller reptiles, and even an alligator! After the show everyone was allowed to go and pet these animals. I had a wonderful time, and if you love animals you will too!
Anyone can come and see, pet, and learn about these amazing animals, thanks to our amazing Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department.
