You might be thinking, “Why is a bank hyping up another local business?” Well, that’s because supporting local is kind of their thing—pretty un-bank-like, right? And obviously, it’s our thing too! This Kokomo Uncovered is showcasing Uncle B’s Meat Market, Deli, & Catering. We love it, and we think you will too.

Owner Blake Kinder wanted to open something that Kokomo could use more of: a meat market that not only offers some of the best meats around but also offers freshly made deli salads, a salad bar, condiments, snacks, and so much more. They also have a menu that you can order from, making Uncle B’s a meat market-deli-restaurant-store hybrid where you can get anything from coal for your grill to savory sausages and delicious Whipped Cookie Bliss. They also offer catering for all kinds of events.

“We’re here to bring back that old-school butcher shop feel with friendly faces, good food, and fair prices,” said owner Blake Kinder. “We’re just getting started and already feeling the love from the community.”

You might be asking, what is the owner’s favorite thing they offer? Well, we asked! “All of our scratch-made deli salads—especially the cheeseburger salad—and our whipped cookie bliss. It’s hands down one of our absolute favorites and a customer favorite too.” said owner Blake Kinder.

We tried the turkey sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The quality sliced turkey blended with the whole grain mustard for a tasty and filling sandwich. They have a variety of sandwiches that you can try!
