FIRST LOOK: Inside Kokomo’s New LivSmart Studios by Hilton
Kokomo has a brand new hotel and we got one of the first looks inside. LivSmart Studios by Hilton has officially opened its second-ever location right here in our city and we toured the space so you can see what it’s all about. Located at 5128 Cartwright Dr., LivSmart Studios is designed specifically for long-term stays. Think 10 nights or more, or even a few months at a time. We talked with Isaac Lake, Brand Leader for LivSmart Studios by Hilton, who said Kokomo was chosen because of its growing workforce, especially in automotive manufacturing and energy. There’s a big need for extended-stay lodging here and Hilton stepped in to meet it.
Inside, the hotel feels more like a modern apartment building than a typical hotel. There are 137 studio-style suites, each with its own full kitchen (yes, dishwasher and cooktop included), tons of storage and flexible furniture so guests can cook, work, relax and actually live comfortably during long stays.
The amenities keep that theme going: complimentary grab-and-go breakfast, 24/7 free coffee, a fitness center, a multifunctional laundry room and even dedicated spaces for package and food deliveries. Outside, guests can hang out by the fire pits or use the grills which perfect for long-term travelers who want a little normalcy.
LivSmart Studios Kokomo is owned by Sun Development & Management Corporation and is only the second location of this new Hilton brand. With more than 100 additional properties planned, Kokomo is getting an early look at something that’s about to grow fast.
