Pride Month 2025 | Top Events In & Near Kokomo!
At The Kokomo Post, we believe in celebrating a community where everyone can live with pride, authenticity, and acceptance. Pride Month is a time to honor the LGBTQ+ community’s history, achievements, and ongoing fight for equality — and to come together in joy and support.
This month, we connected with Kokomo Pride to learn more about how they’re empowering our local LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, education, and celebration.
“Kokomo Pride's mission is to support and uplift the entire LGBTQ+ community. They're currently working on expanding their outreach into the community. Support from the community can come in many forms — the most important is to be open-minded and accepting! Second, there is also a need for financial support — currently, they’re running completely as a volunteer organization with no permanent home. They would like to change that and have an office/meeting place for their events — a safe place to call home.”

Kokomo Pride Festival

📍N Buckeye St and Jackson St, Kokomo, IN
Come celebrate Pride during national Pride month! This event is for everyone wanting to celebrate love, acceptance, and inclusion. ❤️ There will be vendors, music, food, games with prizes. 🏳️🌈🎉

Festival After Party: Cocktails & Silent Auction
🗓️ Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 7 - 10 p.m.
📍 The Depot Room | 500 N Buckeye St.
Keep the party rolling! Come to The Depot Room above Sun King for an after-party. There will be cocktails, mingling with Drag Performers, Silent Auction items up for bid, and a surprise at the end of the night! Support local drag performers and Kokomo Pride!

Indy Pride Parade
🗓️ Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
📍 Mass Ave | 748 Massachusetts Ave. Indianapolis, IN
The Indy Pride Parade is one of the largest annual celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community in Indianapolis with attendance up to 60,000. The parade serves as the kickoff of Indy Pride Weekend.
The parade features an array of participants, including LGBTQ+ organizations, local businesses, community groups, and allies, all coming together to celebrate joy and social justice. Floats, marching bands, performers, and community leaders march through downtown Indianapolis.

Indy Pride | Celebrate on the Circle
🗓️ Saturday & Sunday, June 14 & 15, 2025 from 12 - 5 p.m.
📍 Monument Circle | Indianapolis, IN
Celebration on the Circle is a highlight of Indy Pride Weekend, taking it back to one of the most meaningful traditions in the history of Indianapolis Pride for TWO DAYS. The Celebration on the Circle will be held on Monument Circle, a signature location in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, and is completely free and open to the public. This event offers a family-friendly atmosphere that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and invites everyone to participate in this historic moment.

Bi and Beyond: A Pride Celebration

📍10 East Arts | 3137 E 10th Street Indianapolis, IN
Bi and Beyond: A Pride Celebration on Thursday, June 26th at 10 E Arts Hub as they celebrate the middle sexualities of the community.
This event is FREE and open to ALL AGES!
Come dance, have some food, and visit some vendors for a fun-filled evening!
