HCAC Baseball Championship Hits Kokomo Municipal Stadium This Weekend

Exciting news for local sports fans! The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) is bringing its 2025 Baseball Championship to Kokomo Municipal Stadium this week, and it’s shaping up to be an action-packed event you won’t want to miss.

From Thursday, May 8, through Sunday, May 11, downtown Kokomo will be buzzing as six college baseball teams hit the field to compete for the championship title. The tournament follows a double-elimination format, so you can expect plenty of thrilling matchups and nail-biting moments throughout the weekend.

Who’s Playing?

Here’s a look at the teams set to battle it out for the championship:

  • Manchester University (North Manchester, IN)

  • Anderson University (Anderson, IN)

  • Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Terre Haute, IN)

  • Transylvania University (Lexington, KY)

  • Mount St. Joseph University (Cincinnati, OH)

  • Franklin College (Franklin, IN)

Game Schedule:

The tournament kicks off Thursday with four games scheduled:

  • 10 a.m. – Franklin vs. Rose-Hulman

  • 1:15 p.m. – Mount St. Joseph vs. Transylvania

  • 4:30 p.m. – Worst-seeded winner from Games 1 and 2 vs. Manchester

  • 7:45 p.m. – Best-seeded winner from Games 1 and 2 vs. Anderson

Friday will see another round of four games starting at 10 a.m., with games also at 1:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:45 p.m.

Saturday's schedule includes two games at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., while Sunday will feature a game if necessary, with the time to be determined.

Tickets and Admission:

Admission is just $10 per person, per day, but here’s a sweet deal: Kids 11 and under get in free! Plus, if you’re a Howard County resident, you’re eligible for a 50% discount with valid ID, bringing the cost down to just $5 per day.
