Step Right Up, Kokomo: The 6th Annual Post Party is Here!
The Kokomo Post’s 6th Annual Post Party, presented by The Kokomo Post & Ivy Tech Community College, is back on Friday, October 3, and this year, we’re pulling out all the stops. From bigger-than-ever block party fun to unforgettable circus-themed entertainment, downtown Kokomo is about to transform into the ultimate Halloween Circus Extravaganza.

A Circus Experience Like Never Before
This isn’t just another block party — this is a full-on immersive experience designed to surprise and delight at every turn. And this year, we’re teaming up with the incredibly talented Amanda Duncan Productions to take things to a whole new level. Amanda has spent years dazzling audiences with theatrical productions and immersive décor experiences across the country. Now, she’s bringing her talents and team to Kokomo. Expect the streets to come alive with magicians, mermaids, palm readers, strongmen, and so much more. Amanda and her crew are the heartbeat of this year’s circus theme, creating the atmosphere that will make this Post Party truly unforgettable.
Magic, Music & More
On the Showmobile Stage, the spotlight shines on Obtuse Magic, a nationally known magician whose spooky storytelling and audience participation will keep families on the edge of their seats during a special 30-minute magic show from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The laughter, gasps, and wide-eyed wonder are sure to be a highlight of the night.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Post Party without the beats that keep the energy going. We’re thrilled to welcome back DJ Pugh, a crowd favorite who knows how to keep Kokomo dancing. From start to finish, DJ Pugh will set the tone for a celebration unlike any other.
Spooky Friends & Spooktacular Photos
Our four-legged friends are in on the fun, too! Wrangler & Friends will be on site, complete with Wrangler himself dressed in his Halloween best. The miniature pony and his pals are always a huge hit, and this year you can snag a keepsake photo with Wrangler captured by Molly Belt Photography.
And speaking of unforgettable snapshots, ANP Photography is returning for the second year to provide FREE family photos in front of a custom Halloween backdrop designed by Simply Aesthetic Rental Co. Families across Kokomo look forward to this tradition each year, and with ANP’s signature style, you’ll walk away with a frame-worthy memory from the night.
Food, Fun & Fan Favorites
From inflatable obstacle courses and games courtesy of Hoppin’ Good Times and The Party Emporium, to burgers from The Coterie, festive drinks from The Beverage Buggy, and cotton candy and lemonade from Sparkle Me Sweet, there’s something to satisfy every craving and keep the whole family entertained.
And yes, the tradition continues with our iconic Costume Contest. Dress to impress in your Halloween best and take the stage at 7 p.m. for your chance to win amazing prizes from Gas City Performing Arts Center, Heritage Lanes, Gravity Trampoline Park, and Sun King Kokomo.
When the Party Ends, the Fun is Just Beginning
This year, for the first time ever, the Post Party doesn’t stop when the block closes down. We’re teaming up with The Hobson to launch the official POST PARTY AFTER!
As the sun sets, the circus transforms into an epic late-night dance party. DJ Jansen will take over the sound with high-energy beats and dazzling light shows, while The Hobson serves up spooky cocktails and mocktails to keep the vibe alive. The After Party runs from 8:30 to 11 p.m., and trust us — you won’t want to miss it.
The best part? Post Pass Members get in FREE (plus one guest), with additional guest tickets only $5 each. Non-members are welcome too, with tickets just $7 at the door. But, why not take advantage of perks all year round by becoming a Post Pass member if you aren’t already? Plus, members can snag one of the limited edition Kokomo Post colorable tote bags filled with local goodies while supplies last.
