Partygoers of Kokomo have a unique and safe new way to travel as a new business called The Party Bus has pulled into town. The business is based on a renovated bus that has been transformed into a mini nightclub on wheels.

The edgy and cool local craft cocktail bar The Coterie is taking a turn for the wild west this month, as it transforms into a pop-up country bar for a limited time. “Bob’s Country Bunker” will transport visitors to a country and western-themed world, complete with live country and western music and a themed menu.

The Grind edged out the Bobkats in a thrilling match that ended 103-104. It was a close game from start to finish, with both teams exchanging the lead throughout the game. The Grind was led by standout performances from their top players, who made clutch plays down the stretch to secure the victory. The Bobkats gave it their all, but ultimately fell just short in their quest for a win. Overall, it was a highly entertaining game that showcased the skill and competitiveness of both teams.

On May 4, in a thrilling Game of the Week presented by Robert Miller and Son, a baseball match-up between the Kokomo Wildkats and Western Panthers, Kokomo emerged victorious with a 5-3 win. The Wildkats were led by strong pitching performances from Flamino and Sexton, who combined for six strikeouts. Norman also delivered with a hit and two RBIs, while Hardimon added an RBI of his own. Western battled back in the third and fourth innings with one and two runs respectively but were ultimately unable to overcome Kokomo's lead. It was a hard-fought game on both sides, but Kokomo prevailed to earn the win.

The golf match at Chippendale Golf Course between Western and Kokomo high schools was a close one on May 3, with Western ultimately taking the win, 200-182.
