On My Way Pre-K Available for Local Families
On My Way Pre-K awards vouchers to low-income families so they may have access to a high quality preschool program the year before they begin Kindergarten. We wanted to learn more and met with Kimberly Gordon, our local Project Manager with On My Way Pre-K, and discussed applying for voucher awards and approved On My Way Pre-K programs located in or near Kokomo.

Western Primary Unveils New Mobile Literacy Lab
On Monday, Western Primary School hosted a grand opening for its new mobile literacy lab, an innovative program housed in a refurbished RV that organizers say will serve as classroom space and an outreach opportunity. A new episode of Little Foodies just aired on The Kokomo Post, where our trusted tasters try out different foods, treats, and eats in Kokomo and give their honest and unfiltered opinions. This week, our trio was joined by a lesser-seen Kokomo Post Kid, Blakely, to get a toddler’s take as well. The gang tried the Cheeseburger Melt from Pizza Hut — all the flavors of a cheeseburger wrapped up in a pizza and served with dip-able burger sauce.
