Did you know that there is a giant inflatable obstacle course floating in a pool right here in Kokomo?

Welcome back to another article for Kokomo Uncovered, where we showcase something unique, special, or brand new in Kokomo—thanks to our incredible friends and partners at Community First Bank of Indiana. You might be thinking, “Why is a bank hyping up a pool obstacle course?” Well, that’s because community experiences that bring people together are kind of their thing. Pretty un-bank-like, right? And obviously, it’s our thing too! This Kokomo Uncovered is showcasing WIBIT at the Kokomo Family YMCA!

So you might be asking, when, what, and where? Let’s get started. The Kokomo Family YMCA has this massive inflatable obstacle course called the WIBIT, and they roll it right out onto their indoor pool. Remember the show Wipeout? This is basically that for kids, but much safer, of course.

Occasionally, the YMCA opens the WIBIT up to the public, so you can enjoy the fun even if you’re not a member. There is also party information for if you want to rent the WIBIT for a special party; more information on that can be found here. Whether it’s a birthday party, youth group, school celebration, or just a simple private get-together, you can make sure that it’ll be a blast.
