The Kokomo Post’s 6th Annual Post Party: A Halloween Circus to Remember
This past Friday, October 3rd, we hosted our 6th Annual Post Party, and wow, what a night! Every year this event grows bigger, better and a little more magical and this year’s Halloween Circus theme was truly something special. Thousands of Kokomo families came out to celebrate spooky season with us and from the moment guests arrived, the energy was electric.
Festive decor set the scene for a lively Halloween circus filled with color and excitement. Families explored the event grounds enjoying the mix of laughter, music and the tempting smells of local food vendors. And, the talented performers from Amanda Duncan Productions brought the theme to life with live circus entertainment from start to finish.
One of the biggest highlights of the night, as always, was our live costume contest. Kokomo knows how to show up in style and this year’s costumes were next-level creative. We even had a few celebrity judges join the fun, including Mayor Tyler Moore, who helped crown some of the night’s best looks.
And of course, no Post Party would be complete without Trick-or-Treat Alley. Vendors lined the street handing out endless goodies, treats and smiles. Families visited booth by booth with candy-filled bags, while also enjoying the live music, inflatable games, obstacle courses and amazing food and drink options. Everywhere you looked, there was something happening and the excitement was contagious.
But this year, for the first time ever, we didn’t stop when the Post Party ended. We kept the fun going with an After Party at The Hobson and Kokomo, you showed up! Families joined us to dance the night away, sip on mocktails and cocktails, and celebrate an unforgettable evening together. It was the perfect way to end a day that already felt straight out of a storybook.
When I think about what makes Kokomo special, it’s nights like this. Nights when the whole community comes together to celebrate, laugh and make memories. The Post Party has truly become a tradition that so many look forward to every fall,and we can’t thank you enough for showing up year after year with so much enthusiasm and heart.

From the vendors in Trick-or-Treat Alley to the teams behind the scenes, every single person played a part in making this year’s Post Party one for the books.
