Larison Media Celebrates 10 Years in Style: A Night of Community, Creativity and Celebration
On Tuesday evening, July 23, Larison Media opened the doors to their newly renovated space at 210 W Walnut Street in downtown Kokomo for an unforgettable celebration. Hosted in collaboration with the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce, their Business After Hours event marked a decade of Larison Media, drawing in a packed house of chamber members, local business owners, Larison alumni, and supportive guests from all corners of the community.
A Warm Welcome with an Interactive Twist
Guests were greeted with warm smiles and a unique “media passport,” an interactive experience designed to showcase the creative heart of Larison Media. From free professional headshots and green screen fun to a collaborative community painting, the passport activities guided attendees through immersive and engaging stations throughout the building. Completing the passport challenges gave attendees a chance to win an incredible $10,000 worth of prizes including media and marketing packages, services and more.
Ribbon Cutting & A Surprise Honor
The celebration kicked off with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, setting the tone for a night full of surprises and heartfelt moments. Including a special surprise from Mayor Tyler Moore who took the opportunity to deliver a special tribute to Larison Media’s impact. The Mayor presented founders Drew and Erin Larison with the City of Kokomo Cornerstone Award — In recognition and honor for becoming such an integral part of the foundation of our local economy, small business growth and community storytelling through both Larison Media and The Kokomo Post.
A Space Filled with Music, Laughter, and Gratitude
As guests made their way through the transformed space, they enjoyed a delicious charcuterie spread, a celebratory cake, and live DJ music that kept spirits high. The event provided a rare behind-the-scenes look into the production magic that powers both Larison Media and The Kokomo Post, giving the community an opportunity to connect with the people and passion behind the brand.
This evening wasn’t just a celebration of business success — it was a vibrant reflection of what makes Kokomo special: community, collaboration, and creativity. Check out our photo gallery from the event below!
