Get ready, Kokomo because one of our most beloved childhood landmarks is racing back into action! The Raceway Fun Park is officially reopening its doors this Friday, June 20, and it's bringing back all the nostalgic vibes you remember with a turbocharged makeover you won’t want to miss.

A Beloved Kokomo Classic, Reimagined

If you grew up in Kokomo in the '90s or 2000s, chances are you spent countless summer days zooming around the go-kart track, swinging in the batting cages, or battling it out in a round of mini golf at the original Raceway. Now, under new ownership, this iconic destination is being revived with fresh energy—and a whole lot of upgrades.

In February, Kristina Pryor and Parker Jones took over the property, saving it from being demolished and turned into a storage facility. Kristina shared, “This place is special. It’s been around since the '90s, and so many memories have been made here. We’re excited to help make even more.”

What's New at the Raceway?

The new owners have poured heart and soul into restoring and enhancing the park. Here's a peek at what’s been refreshed and added:

And perhaps the most exciting update of all? They plan to stay open year-round—every day of the week! That means fun in every season, rain or shine.

A Vision for Year-Round Fun

Without giving too much away, Kristina has big plans for an exciting lineup of seasonal fun, including spooky fall events, festive winter celebrations, and a variety of community-focused gatherings throughout the year.

She added, “Our plan is to grow, expand, and bring new things to do here—to be a place that people want to come back to again and again.”

As a mother of six herself, Kristina knows the value of family fun. “I’m most excited to see kids smiling on the go-kart track and families enjoying time together. Whether you’re popping in for a drink or spending the whole day here, we want this to be your go-to spot.”
