What if we told you there's a brand-new store in Kokomo where you can shop for retro video games, vinyl records, movies, comic books, Pokémon cards and all kinds of collectibles and even sell some of your old favorites?
Vintage Stock has officially opened inside Markland Mall, bringing a huge selection of new and used entertainment merchandise to Kokomo!
In the latest episode of Kokomo Uncovered, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, we're taking you inside this exciting new addition to Markland Mall to see what shoppers can expect.
A One-Stop Shop for Movies, Music, Gaming and More
Despite its name, Vintage Stock isn't your typical vintage or antique store.
Instead, it's a shopping destination dedicated to entertainment, gaming and pop culture, offering a wide variety of both new and used merchandise.
Inside, shoppers can browse everything from DVDs and Blu-rays to video games, gaming consoles, vinyl records, CDs, comic books, trading cards, toys and collectibles.
Whether you're a fan of classic movies, retro gaming, superheroes, Pokémon or collecting merchandise from your favorite franchises, there's plenty to explore.
And one of the best parts?
You never really know what you might find!
A Little Nostalgia Goes a Long Way
There's something special about coming across an item that immediately takes you back to your childhood.
Maybe it's a movie you used to rent every weekend, a video game you spent hours trying to beat or a collectible you haven't seen in years.
And just like that, you're ten years old all over again.
That's part of what makes a store like Vintage Stock so much fun.
For adults, it's a chance to rediscover old favorites. For collectors, it's another place to search for something special. And for younger shoppers, it's an opportunity to explore both classic and current entertainment merchandise.
Vintage Stock also carries newer releases and modern collectibles, so it's not just about revisiting the past.
There's plenty for shoppers who want to keep up with their latest interests, too!
Buy, Sell and Trade Your Old Favorites
One of the most interesting things about Vintage Stock is that they don't just sell merchandise, they buy it, too!
If you've got DVDs, video games, comic books, trading cards or other collectibles sitting around your house that you're ready to part with, you may be able to bring them into the store and receive an offer.
Vintage Stock offers customers the opportunity to sell eligible merchandise for cash or receive store credit toward future purchases.
Store credit typically offers greater trade-in value, making it an appealing option for shoppers looking to exchange old favorites for something new.
So that collection of video games you haven't touched in years might help you pick up something you've been wanting!
And because the store purchases used merchandise, its selection can change as new items are brought in.
That means there's always a reason to stop back and see what's new.
A Fun New Shopping Destination at Markland Mall
With the holiday shopping season approaching, Vintage Stock is also a great place to keep in mind when searching for gifts.
Whether you're shopping for a gamer, movie enthusiast, music lover, comic book collector or someone who loves Pokémon cards, the store offers plenty of possibilities.
It's also a fun place to visit just to browse.
You might walk in looking for a specific game or movie and leave with a completely unexpected find.
And let's be honest, those are sometimes the best shopping trips!
