Wellness City Brings Big-City Self-Care Services to Kokomo

Get excited, Kokomo! Wellness City is about to open their doors and they’re bringing the community a true one-stop shop for self-care. From cutting edge therapies to everyday wellness essentials, this brand new facility is here to make taking care of yourself easier, more affordable and more fun than ever before.

The Kokomo Post team got a sneak peek inside Wellness City and let’s just say, if you’ve ever dreamed of having all your favorite wellness services under one roof, this is the place for you.

Located in the former Buff City Soap space in Boulevard Crossing, right next to T.J. Maxx, Wellness City officially opens its doors on Saturday, October 4 at 8:00 a.m.. And trust us, you’re going to want to be one of the first through those doors.

Why Kokomo?

When we asked Chief Marketing Officer Chad Brizendine why Kokomo was chosen as the very first Wellness City location in the U.S., his answer made us smile.

“Wellness services like Red Light and Cryo are often only available in large metropolitan areas, but we want to change that. And we’ve loved getting to know the Kokomo community ever since opening our Buff City Soap in Boulevard Crossing,” Brizendine shared.

So while Kokomo may not be a big city, it’s now home to a big-city-style wellness center that’s accessible to everyone.

And yes, you read that right… the mention of Buff City Soap. As a sister company of Wellness City, that means if you’ve been missing your favorite Buff City Soap products, you’re in luck! When you walk through the doors, you’ll be greeted by a full wall of Buff City Soap goodies available for purchase.

What You’ll Find Inside

Walking through the space, our team was impressed by just how much Wellness City offers. Instead of bouncing between multiple businesses for different treatments, you’ll now find it all in one sleek, welcoming location.

Here’s just a taste of what’s waiting for you:

  • Red Light Therapy – A non-invasive treatment that uses low-level wavelengths of red light to help with skin health, muscle recovery, and overall rejuvenation.

  • Cryo Therapy – Cold therapy sessions designed to reduce inflammation, relieve sore muscles, and speed up recovery.

  • Tanning – Sun-kissed glow with modern tanning options available in-house.

  • Hydro Massage – Relaxation-focused water pressure massage without needing to book a traditional massage appointment.

  • Halo Therapy (Salt Therapy) – A wellness practice where micro-particles of salt are dispersed into the air to improve respiratory health and skin conditions.

  • Infrared Trim Spa – Infrared heat sessions aimed at boosting circulation, relaxation, and potential body-slimming benefits.

  • Leg Compression Therapy – Compression boots that help with circulation, muscle recovery, and reducing swelling—perfect for athletes or anyone on their feet all day.

Brizendine explained the heart behind the concept:
“Creating a wellness routine, whether you’re an athlete, busy mom, or man in your 50s—can feel overwhelming, time consuming and expensive. We’ve taken all the latest cutting-edge equipment and services and brought them together under one roof for one low price.”

Memberships That Make Wellness Affordable

One of the biggest surprises during our tour was just how affordable Wellness City is. For unlimited access to every service in the building, memberships are available for as low as $69.99/month if you join before grand opening day.

“Instead of paying $50+ for a single cryo session or hundreds for multiple memberships, we’re offering unlimited access to all our services for one flat rate,” Brizendine explained.

  • Pre-Sale Special: $69.99/month FOREVER if you join before October 4.

  • October Deal: $79.99/month if you join between 10/4–10/31.

  • Regular Price: $99.99/month starting November 1.

And here’s the kicker: the pre-sale is $0 down, nothing due until November and you can cancel anytime after your first month.

Grand Opening Fun

Mark your calendars: Saturday, October 4 at 8:00 AM. The first 50 people in line will snag an exclusive Wellness City swag bag stuffed with goodies, including a custom Stanley cup (yes, the one everyone wants).

The Bottom Line

Kokomo, you’re about to have something truly special. Whether you’re looking to relax, recover or just try something new, Wellness City is here to make wellness more accessible, more fun and way more affordable.

As Brizendine summed it up, “We want to help people feel better, look better and live better without breaking the bank.”
