The Kokomo Post Sports- Game of the Week: Taylor Titans vs Northwestern Tigers (Photo Gallery)
This week’s Kokomo Post Sports Game of the Week, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, took us to Northwestern High School. The Northwestern Tigers hosted the Taylor Titans, on the first day of the Howard County Baseball Invitational. Northwestern’s starting pitcher Karson Griggs started the game in such a groove the Titans were unable to slow him down. Griggs and reserve pitcher Kolten Berry combined for a 12 strikeout, 2 hit shutout as Northwestern ended the game with a 12-0 win over Taylor.

Crowds flocked to various events throughout the city to catch the eclipse today as the path of totality passed over part of the county.
Adjusted school schedules and the closing of various businesses for the day allowed for the public to experience a variety of events including Eclipse at The Riverwalk, Dark at the Diamond, Eclipsed in Fun and Total Eclipse of the Park - check out our gallery here.
