The Tiny Chefs of Kokomo: A Thanksgiving Recipe Project

When you were little, did you ever think you knew exactly how Thanksgiving dinner was made?
Maybe mashed potatoes were mixed with frosting, or the turkey went in the microwave “for two minutes.”

Well, we’re bringing that magic (and the hilarity) back.

This Thanksgiving, The Kokomo Post wants to hear your kids’ best “recipes.”
We’re talking about the creative, chaotic and completely adorable ways they think Thanksgiving food comes to life. From ingredient lists, step-by-step instructions and all.

Here’s how it works:

  • Parents, grandparents and teachers can help their little chefs submit their “recipes” using the form below.

  • You can even upload a photo or drawing of their masterpiece!

  • We’ll feature our favorites in a Tiny Chefs of Kokomo Thanksgiving story on our website and social media later this month.

It’s funny. It’s heartwarming. And it’s a sweet reminder that the best part of Thanksgiving isn’t the perfect pie crust, it’s the people (and the stories) around the table.

So grab your little chef, hit “submit,” and get ready to make Kokomo’s funniest cookbook ever.

Submission will be accepted now through Nov. 15.
