You know the saying โLess is moreโ? Well, that perfectly describes Brandonโs Burgers. They are focused on offering classic burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenderloins, and sides like fries and onion rings, while striving for near perfection. Let me just say, they are headed down the right path.
The Howard County 4-H Fair is all about celebrating our community, and one of the best ways to see local talent shine is at the annual Talent Show. From singers to dancers to performers of all kinds, this event always brings the crowd together to cheer on friends, neighbors, and young performers giving it their all on stage.
Our team from The Kokomo Post was there snapping photos of the big performances, the nerves, the proud families in the crowd, and of course, those unforgettable moments when the performers hit their stride!
The livestock shows are where months of dedication, early mornings, and countless hours of hard work come to life as local 4-H members proudly present the animals theyโve raised and cared for.
The Kokomo Post team spent time ringside capturing the energy, pride, and victories that make these shows such a meaningful part of the fair.
Kokomo Post 6 faces a demanding stretch this weekend with doubleheaders scheduled on back-to-back days. The senior team will compete in multiple games in Napoleon, Ohio, and Muncie, Indiana, putting their endurance and depth to the test. With several contests packed into a short timeframe, Post 6โs players and coaches know every inning will count as they look to make a strong impression on the road.
The pageant stage at the Howard County 4-H Fair is always full of excitement, nerves, and plenty of proud moments and this yearโs competitions were no exception. Our team from The Kokomo Post was there to capture all the smiles, sparkling crowns, and special memories from one of the most anticipated traditions of fair week!
This yearโs lineup included the Little Miss Pageant, the Miss Howard County Queen Pageant, and the Miss Howard County Junior Pageant with the official crowning ceremony.
One of the loudest, fastest, and most exciting traditions at the Howard County 4-H Fair is the drag race and this year did not disappoint.
Our team from The Kokomo Post was trackside capturing all the action, from the revving engines to the high-speed finishes. The drag race is always a favorite part of fair week, whether youโre a racing fan or just love the thrill of watching local drivers put the pedal to the floor.

It was a tough final home game for the Kokomo Post 6 Sixers, falling 17-5 to Plymouth after early pitching struggles and defensive miscues. Despite a 4-run rally in the 4th, the Diamond Spyders pulled away for good in the 5th.

Itโs finally fair week in Howard County and the Howard County 4-H Fair is officially in full swing. The fair runs from July 7 to 12 and our team was out there on Opening Day to soak it all in and snap some photos of the fun as it kicked off.
